Mate I hate Ipods, well not so much Ipods but Itunes, people see it as easy to use but it is only due to it being so limited in functionality, for christ sake what's with no copy and paste from one drive to another? (ok rant stopped).

    I recently used an Sharepod , http://www.getsharepod.com

Agree it's very frustrating how they remove the ability to manage files yourself.

I haven't tried it on an iPod but on my iPad I've used skydrive (any of the cloud file storage apps would do) and synced it with the iPad so the files got transferred. Not an ideal solution but does provide the abity to copy and paste and also share or use those files on any other device.

You need to find the option in iTunes to manually manage music on that device that way you can just drag stuff to it.

              Goodsy

              Try MediaMonkey.

Its in beta now for Iphone5 but earlier versions of all Iphone/Ipods etc work great.

              Cheers Glenn
