Can you fit an awning without roof racks?

Gday,
I have an NP without roof rails or a roof rack and am thinking of getting an awning. Does anyone know if there in a mounting kit for vehicles that dont have roof racks or bars?

Does the NP have tracks running down the length of the car?

If so could you insert a channel nut into the tracks to bolt the awning bracket to?

I think you can get Rhino rack track then mount it to that, the track fits into your gutter.

awning fitting

Andrew, just a quick point. It might be worthwhile checking the height that you propose mounting the awning at, if you do so without any bars or rack. My awning is mounted onto rola bars in a position that the top of the awning is just level with the top of the bars. This just allows enough height to set the awning so people can stand underneath and an open door does not make contact with the open awning. The rola mounting brackets add approx 150mm to the available awning mounting height.
Also be aware (and you may already know) that the roof of an NP is not "flat" but curved, a three bar set up uses levelling inserts to get a straight line for mounting accessories etc. An awning is a "straight line" accessory so you may need to modify any brackets fitted without a rack set up.
