  • PB Challenger, Alloy Factory Bullbar

Calling on the brains trust for answers...Would anyone know if the alloy factory bullbar fits over the existing bumper? I know the flares need to be cut but not sure if the bumper needs to be removed?

On a factory bar the flares and the front bumper cover need to be removed, cut and refitted. ARB, TJM & Smartbar all require the above work to be done.
Only bar that does not require this is the ECB Alloy and the lower grille needs 2 holes cut in it for the mounting brackets.

As all bars are mounted to the chassis and the chassis and body move independently at least 15mm clearance is required between any part of the bar and body. Otherwise you get chaffing on the body like this MM alloy bar fitted to a PB.

Here is a side view of a ECB fitted to a PB.

    cheers, old Jack.
