  • Rooftop Tent for NM Pajero

Been toying with the idea of a rooftop tent for the NM Pajero but not to sure how to go about it.
    Any help would be appriciated.
Not to sure if it's the right thing to be doing as I'm not a little bloke 7 not too sure on the wieght restriction these things have.

I toyed with this idea for me and the misses for My Pajero...

I went to a camping show and got to look inside one and decided I'd never ever get one of these.. I'm only 6'5 and about 140kgs and I don't think the Paj would take the weight of me on the roof, not to mention how much the car would move when I rolled over...

Not only that you can't just nick down to the shops once your set up for the night..

We ended up getting the Oztent RV4 with all the bits'n'bobs.. worth every penny..
1998 NL GLS, ARB Bull bar, GME UHF, Rhino Rack roof cage, Terrain Tamer Suspension, Mickey Thompson ATZ, Long range tank, Snorkle & Rallye 2000 Driving lights.

9000lbs Winch (Arrived - Now needs to be installed)

Precisely why I put mine on a trailer.

I did the same to my roof top tent - mounted it on a trailer. This setup does have some advantages when crossing creeks.
