For over thirty years the Licola Lions Village have been providing camping programs for community and school groups. The most renowned of these are the January camps that run every year for children aged 8-11years. 2008 will be the first time in the camps history that the January camps will not run. This is a direct result of the Winter/Cup Weekend Floods. The Licola Wilderness Village is aiming to reopen for camps at the start of February, however before this can happen the Licola Wilderness Village is calling for Four Wheel Drive Clubs to lend a hand to get the camp in order.
