  • Outside Temperature Sender

Not the most drastic defect I know, but very frustrating.
The temperature displayed on the centre multimeter unit is incorrect. Does anybody know where to find the sender unit for this. I have a 1996 SWB 2.8 Pajero.
    Many thanks in advance.

I'm not sure, although on many of the cars I've seen and worked on, the outside temperature sensor is at the front of the car. In front of both the radiator and condensor.

Look for a small black plastic square (sensor) with a couple of wires and plug coming out of it.

      Hello.

The temp sensor is fitted in to the left hand side of the front bumper in the tube that holds the plastic bumper corner on. If you take the front grill off the wiring loom that goes to the fans on the air con will also have the wires going into the bumper. The sensor looks like two wires with a bit / blob of black glue on the end of it.

      Hope this helps.
