[SA] Murray Mouth Sunday 5th December

We did this a couple of years ago, and we're doing it again.

A few of us are heading to the mouth of the Murray for a pre-Christmas get together, and I thought I'd throw it open to the forum. A bbq / lunch / responsible drink or two, all at the mercy of weather conditions on the day.

Typically, we nominate one or two meet points for Adelaide residents who would like to travel in convoy, and others meet at Goolwa Beach at 10am. I like to head down a little earlier, and have breakfast in Goolwa before meeting up - always happy for others to join me.

Goolwa is easy beach driving, can be done at highway pressures but lowering tyre pressures is easier on the car, and on the beach.

The tides on the day are very friendly - below 0.6m during daylight hours. NFI what this means for fishing - perhaps somebody else can chime in?

It looks like Sunday is going to be a great day weather wise - not too hot but not cold either.

I will be at the Glen Osmond meeting point at 8:30am (in the carpark for the small park on the corner of Gill Tce and the freeway near the tollgate).
