  • peake SA 5-6 April 2014

I have booked another peake trip for the 5-6 April 2014. We will head up on the Friday night 4th.

    What you will need.

Be Completely self sufficient. There is no amenities other than long drop toilets.
    Own recovery gear.
    Sand flag.
    Fire wood.
    UHF radio.
    Sense of humour.
Cost is $15 per day includes camping for the night.

Awesome sand driving. With a few Rocky's area if that is your thing.

Meeting point to be confirmed. But probably at the peake pub.( the property is only 5 minutes from there).

At this point I am going to restrict it to the first 10 cars that put there name up as I have others coming already and do not want it too busy. More time for all.

    Attendees.

We can discuss this over time old jack, the trip is a few months away. This will NOT be a club trip more a fun social trip. There will be a total of 20 ish cars with lots of experienced drivers. If you and some attendees want to do some training I am sure i can set aside a area for this.

Camper trailers and caravans are fine to get to the camping area.

Broke the strap last peake trip. It was my older spare one. I don't mind using my gear but would be nice to be offered something when it broke recovering someone else. Just common courtesy really.

Added your name to original post hobbo. I actually reversed out of that with the help of my mate on the side stopping it going over.. Very nearly put it on side. If you have a close look you can see the slide marks down the hill!!
I think you made comment yesterday of a position I was in looked scary. If the kids are not screaming in the back it is not fun. Lol.

If you don't get enough numbers, which I don't think you'll have any problems, I'll put my name down, but a bit far away as yet to be a definite.
