  • Firewall access for wiring on nl pajero

    Hi
I am trying to find a pathway for putting wire through the firewall into the interior of the car for running fridge and maybe also for charging 2nd battery in tailgate (probably AGM) , but am not having much luck. I have always found a rubber grommet with other vehicles but not having any luck. Any suggestions welcomed. I need a decent sized hole as wire size will be 6mm+

    regards Kc

depends on your paj, my NP has a gromett on the pasenger side firewall at about half way down, from memory it already has wiring through it, but was big enough for a 10mm cable.

Thanks John. This could be a winner. Do you have to remove anything to access this point on the cabin side? 10mm was what I had in mind for second battery.... when I get that far.

        KC,

I had the charcoal cannister out, moved to the other side. All I did was slit a hole in it and seal it up with some silicone after it was all done.
