    Rather than have this lost amongst the timing chain threads thought best to begin another one.

    Front of motor showing snapped chain.

    Note how clean everything is including the rockers after 220,000Ks.

    Did you happen to get a pic of the top guide after failure?

    A pic of a bent top guide, but still intact would prove to me the chain was at fault.

    MY16 NX GLX5 with just a few bits added. My14 D-max spacecab, also with a few bits added.

    Love from the dime a dozen, lonely army type/weekend warrior dude with a dual cab and all the same shit as everyone else who doesn't know any better. Thanks for the tip Bru.

      Top guide looks like it's worn through but hard to tell with the pic zoomed in so far.

      Mine at 160000. Pretty clean also.
