  • Front CV removed. Can I drive it?

    G'day guys
Removed the front CV form diff to 36mm CV retainer nut.
Can I drive it this way or is the wheel bearing retained buy the CV axle?

Advice greatly appreciated. No PC fo view manual on atm.

    Cheers

Hey mate you need the drive shaft in so the preload is on the front bearing maybe a short distance but I would not risk it

Just beat me to it. I've just cut the old cv down as a sort of a stub axle.
Brain got working. Will have abs, tc and the wheel won't fall off.
