New fridge for Waeco - Coolfreeze Unplugged

Waeco will be introducing a new 32 LTR self powered fridge next week.
Called the Coolfreeze Unplugged it will be the worlds self powered fridge/freezer. It comes with built in battery and charging electronics , so you can have cooling or freezing anywhere without any bits and peices. Take it anywhere you want to go - beach bush, in the 4by - anywhere remote where power is not available and no need to worry about leads.
On display at the 2007 National 4x4 show in Melbourne.

Had a bo-peep at this fridge last night and looks impressive. Will run on it's own power for 17- 24hrs (claimed). Try and get some specs for it shortly.

While this is good idea and possibly negates the need for a dual battery system, the weight of it surprised me as it was only 9 kg more than on ordinary Waeco 35L. Most batteries weigh a lot more than 9kg!

Good Inovation from Waeco.
I Wouldn't like to get the bill for a Replacement Battery when it dies out on you.
