  • Mt Matlock & Mt Selma

    A few of us headed up to Mt Matlock yesterday to find some snow. Snow was falling continually, but was not overly deep. Then decided to go to Mt Selma to see if enough to build a snow man . At junction O Mt Selma Rd & Mt Selma Tk noticed a 'road closed' sign, so preceeded further on as there was an alternative track. Alternative track did not have 'road closed' signs so finished up getting to the summit. Just after we arrived, 5 or 6 vehicles arrived, guess what via the closed track . No wonder 4wders get such a bad name, or is it that most cant read .

    On the way home, finished up at Coopers Creek & the damage caused by the recent floods was amazing. The force of the water would have been a sight to see, as it has completely transformed the area.

    A couple of pics from the trip;

    Looking good Alan, dunno how you got that snowman to climb up on your spare for the photo but he is looking good. Certainly looks nice and cold.
