  • Pajero diff ratio's

    Hey Hey,

I have a diff from a Pajero, Not sure on the model it came from but its has 320mm disc rotor's and the hand brake is in the caliper. The mounts have been moved to suit my Corona.

It's in and driving around but the ratio is way to high for a 3.8 V6, 4.22 LSD is fun and all but my fuel economy has gone out the window and im on the rev limiter in 3rd before the end of the 1/4 mile. T700 auto so it wont click into O/D with the throttle wide open.

I would like something in the mid - low 3's, Like a 3.50 is the highest i would change to. A 3.30 would be awesome.

Me and a mate have had a look around wrecking yards and on Google and haven't found anything lower than 3.9.

Do they exist or am i up S*#t creek ?

If you check out the FAQ section, and go to the specification topic you will see all the pajeros diff ratios.

similar question was asked on Outerlimits forum about a year ago. I don't think your in for any joy I'm afraid.
