Stock Gen2 lock hubs on Gen1

they probably could, but I'd be fitting the factory manual locking hubs off a triton on to it instead

Hi to all.
If Gen2 stock lock hubs are installed on Gen1, the 4x4 system will work properly?
They will work properly without the actuator or the free lock is needed?
The Auto free hubs look like they are failing and want to fix it the cheapest way.
