  • Pajero wagon - Brake light short ?

First time to this forum and while I am not new to owning Mitsubishi vehicles, I am a first time Pajero owner.
My wagon has a little problem of the brake lights coming on by themselves, even with the ignition off & the "Stop" fuse removed
Obviously there is a short somewhere, to the wire going to the lamps.
I am told it is usually a problem with the switch on the brake pedal, but that would not seem to be the case here ?
    HELP !!!

Got a towbar? Check your trailer plug wiring. Depending on models some owners modify their rear fog lights to act as brake lights as well so could be faulty wiring with the modification.
    What model Paj?

      Thanks Dave
I have recently had a trailer plug fitted.
Might be a short there !
      Thanks for the Idea
Have a Great Christmas & new year.

Wouldn't happen to be with an Electric Brake controller as well??
