What kind of things should I look for if my engine warning lamp has started coming on alot of the time. It's a NJ 94GLS V6 3L Any ideas of where to start.

I have just had the same prob, it slowly got worse where the engine would then stop, fault was the CPU - $400.00 later

You need to check the fault codes. This will tell you which item/s to inspect/repair/replace.

If you are unsure how and where to Diagnose the fault codes. Best bet is to take it to a mechanic that would be able to determine the fault code for you. You could purchase the Haynes Manual and with a multi meter you should diagnose what the Engine stop light is comming on for.

You could reset the Computer by dissconnecting the Battery for 30mins and see if it appears again.
