Considering the trade in price for this back then was around $10,000 - $12,000 it wasn't far off.
Asking price is up in sale yard price range obviously, and private sale was between $10k-$14k for this back then. To buy this now you'd still be looking at between $7k - $9k.

Keep in mind this sales post is over 6yrs old and a lot has changed since then, even highly sought after patrol, prado and landcruiser models have dropped atleast $10k in resale value since then.
