  • Lookingfor camshaft .

Hi was pulling my Paj apart today to do timing Belt and noticed one camshaft has a shot loab on it .It has 3 grooves on one high cam loab so am looking for another camshaft .Its the Drivers side one for the inlet ,RHS looking at front of car .Paj is a 95 NJ DOHC 3.5Ltr Quad Cam .Can a second hand one be fitted straigh in or do they require some machining of some sort .All answers will be appreciated .Thanks Trev .

    3.5ltr I take it?
Bogger might be able to help you out there.
As for fitment, they just swap over without machining. There is no replaceable cup bearings like the crank and rod so you cannot take anything off the bearing journals etc anyways. Just one size and if it wears down you need a new one.

Collets(aka retainer locks), price is for one only, need to order two per valve.

Depending on what condition the retainer is in after hanging in there with only one collet you may want another retainer so I'll drop the link for that as well.

Keep in mind these parts more then just your engine so listings show up engines other then the 6G74 DOHC as well.
Best get a quote through mits over here first and see if it's worth it through Southwest auto, postage through southwest auto for such small parts is likely to only be around $20-$30.
