Hi Guys, I have a NJ GLX and I want to upgrade the suspension. I won't be doing any serious off roading so not looking for a 4" lift or mega flex. Most of the driving will be on dirt roads that are pretty heavily corrugated.
Previous ride was a 90 series Prado that had Pedders springs & shocks and the suspension was too hard for my liking. Handled like my XR6, which was fine on the highway but bone jarring on the dirt!
I'd like to find a spring & shock package that can handle corrugations & sharp bumps without shaking the crap out of the car. Not really stressed about highway handling.
Currently the Paj has 235 HT's on 15x7 Sunnies so these will be getting the flick too. To help the ride would I be better off sticking with the 15's and fitting 31's or going to a 16" rim? I like the look of the 16" GU alloys and was the thinking the reduced unsprung weight might be better?
