  • Aircon Idle Compensation

    Hi Guys and Gals,

When I switch on the aircon, the idle speed drops off by perhaps 200rpm. Is the paj supposed to have idle compensation for when the aircon kicks in? What should the idle revs be with the aircon compressor engaged?

Revs should go up to around 900rpm give or take 50rpm when the compressor is engaged.

When was the last time you gave the throttle body a good clean out?

      aircon > ECU> ISC.

So, Does the idle change with temp or heavy electrical load?

Could either be, someone has re-wired the aircon without feedback to ECU.

or the ISC needs a clean. or love or replacement.

      Its a real simple circuit.
