  • water pump on the NH

Well, 201k on the clock and I think the water pump has finally had it.

I know all the old threads are gone, but does anyone have the guide to do this replacement. Is it a easy DYI or do you recommend a mechanic?

    cheers....Jas

The water pump is driven from the timing belt, if your confident enough to change your timing belt then changing the water pump will be a walk in the park.

My pump seized at 180K, causing the belt to cut its way though the front covers. Luckily my motor was a G72 that is non-interference.

$800 bucks later for parts and she was running again.
