  • Lifting a NP with Lovell springs?

I was thinking of useing Lovell springs to lift my NP 3.5L.

Is there any problems with these springs and how much do they lift?

    Thanks,
    Steve

Any chance of measuring from the mid hub to the arch?

The ride from Lovell/Bilstein setup is far better that the standard suspension.
The ride is firm enough to stop the body roll around corners & still give a very comfortable ride. I believe that the springs are covered by a 5yr warranty.

Had the lift done in Bundy & drove back to Mt.Isa 1800Klm's no problems over the bumpy roads. Great with trailer loaded, no sag.
                  Great choice

                    Hi Steve

Very happy with them. I hear off raod and away at least twce each month with the camper trailer in tow and the car performs well. Would recommend. I hade them fitted in Tyre Power in Cooroy.

Thanks Gary. The measurement you provided is dependend on the wheel size. Thus my query from mid hub to wheel arch. Was that with the standard factory wheel?

                        thanks

exRevHead you don't say where you are, but if you're in NSW you're only allowed up to a 50mm lift to be able to 'owner certify' and stay legal.

I've got to agree - the Lovell/Bilstein combination have proven to be absolutely flawless and delivered every thing that I wanted (and was promised).... with > 3" lift achieved and vastly improved off and on road handling and clearance capability achieved, I wouldn't be recommending any other combination.
01 NM GLS - diesel. 3" Lovell/Bilstein lift. Airtech Snorkel. Cooper ST's. Milford Cargo Barrier. LightForce 240 Blitz. ABR Sidewinder Dual Battery system. Uniden UH089SX UHF CB. Yaesu FT-857D HF/VHF/UHF Txcr. Garmin GPSmap 60CS.Waeco CF60AC.
