NP vibration

Hoping someone can help with a vibration in my 03NP DiD auto.The vibration comes in under load usually going up hill and only when the box changes back to 4th.Recently had the auto serviced but no difference at all.Any ideas? thanks

Could be a few things - if the auto started doing it after servicing then your most likely used the wrong auto trans fluid.

Thanks Marquis for the reply.The vibration was there before the service and the mechanic was sure it would go and it did seem better but not cured for about a month, but now seems to be getting worse again.Hopefully they used the right transmission fluid but you would think an auto transmission specialist would use the right fluid.Thanks again for the input.

Try changing the leads and plugs.. use the 3?ground
electrode, semi surface discharge plug. It's not a platinum plug, but it is a long life plug ( change every 100k ).

but Para - DiDs don't have spark plugs. Diesels ignite through compression. The glow plugs fitted only operate when starting the engine.

I'm sorry to anybody who may have read my post, I jumped the gun and assumed it was a MPI model

By the way, thanks mate for explaining to the others in layman's terms how the diesel operates, it looks like it was your most intelligent post to date!
