Pyrometer Gauge for NP DID

I am looking at fitting a pyrometer to my NP.
Has any one had one fitted & if so, where was the easiest position(upstream or downstream of turbo).

The easest way is to fit the probe into the EGR mount at the rear of the engine, although this will only tell you temp of no:4, not the best way but the quickest, true measurement is done down stream of the turbo
150 mm from outlet.
