  • Removing Roof bars from a NM Pajero

I have just upgraded my old NG Pajero 2.5 litre intercooled turbo diesel EXE that I have had from new, purchased in 1991 to a 2004 3.2 DiD GLX.
I have taken off the factory fitted roof cross bars using the special security allen key but I can not remove the remaining hold down clips. Can anyone help with this dilema? PS roof rails had to come off to get the vehicle into the garage.

Hi, you need to remove the black trim strips first then the legs will clip off easily.

I didn't remove any trim strips, to do mine just undid them with the allen key and pushed the clamps down under the brackets to release them.
