    Suction control valve

    Ga fm Greece! I am owner of pajero 2007 gen 4 diesel auto transmition with 225k kilometers akready rumning! I upgrade the car to stage 1 through obd and the car reach 220 hp ( dpf removed). After 2 wks with the 3rd gear the car can’t increase rpm more than 3000 . Upon engine’s reinspection found that the suction control valve is malfuctioning .
    Any help or any comment fm someone with same issue will be most welcome .

    The best way to make sure the SCV is actually faulty is to read the target rail pressure and the actual pressure and the rail pressure should be: Rail pressure target ± 15 MPa (for a good one).

    Btw, I lost hours trying to make sense of the 2007 version of the manual. It turns out, with cars equipped with DPF (at least for europe) the 2008 version is the good one (even for 2007 vehicles).

    Do you have any of these fault codes: P0191, P0192, P0193 ?

      Hi and thank for your input ! The error code is P0628 Active Dtc Suction control valve low. I already purchased new one ( not installed yet) !

        Further to my last the original spare quoted for 550 euro ex Mitsubishi ! I manage to find genuie part Nissan Group for 109 euros!

          Technically it could be the wires / connectors, too.

          My preferred local part distributor has the original part for about ~400EUR. There is also https://partsouq.com/en/search/all?q=1460A037 and megazip.net
          For Europe also you could use autodoc (seems to be in Greece too), they have decent prices.

          Did you mean 1460A037? Just make sure is the shorter version. The longer one comes on cars after sept 2008 and it has different dimensions and logic:

          I lost some time when I changed the SCV. I didn't realized at first that the bigger o-ring needs to be placed inside the fuel pump and not on the SCV itself:

            Spare part dealer asked about the nubers but he did’t knew anything .

              I installed and use ASA (http://mmc-manuals.ru/Downloads#Mits..._ASA_v.1.8.0.0) but the original part number can be found using https://partsouq.com/ as well. Both of them search for part numbers based on the car's VIN number...
