I have about 600km on the clock but both auto and man fuel consuption figures are telling me 16lt/100km (3.2 DiD) is this right?

I would consider my driving style as relatively light footed.

At this rate it would have been cheaper to buy a petrol engine....

    Thanx

    Hey keefymonster,

We have about 600kms up on our vrx. Figures range from 20 around town to 10.2 on the highway.

What kind of driving are you doing?

Quite a few posts through here stating that the engine doesn't get that economical until about 10,000???
    Cheers,
    Rob

I ran 12.2 for my first tank. Every tank after that has been below 11. Now at 8300km and my average since owning the car is 10.4 and that includes city, highway and low range 4wding.
