  • Pajero NS SWB towing camper trailer

Travelling NSW at the moment and towing our Ultimate camper trailer. For anyone interested, it tows beautifully.
And fuel consumption on the flat tar has been as low as 11.4Ltrs/100km.

Starting to be really happy with the setup. However, with the original Mitsubishi towbar tongue, I would have like to have that 35mm higher for my TREG coupling so that the trailer is just a touch nose down and not quite as far as present.

Went to a Haymen Reece dealer but he had no tongue that would do the job.

Anyone knows where to go for this?

    Cheers

    JandG,
It sounds like you do not have clearance problems when you open the rear door at present, but could you lift the towball at all and still open the door.

I have seen NS's getting about with two different towball setups. One is the short squarish type and the other is noticeably longer and protrudes way out past the spare. They both look like OE tounges though.
    Dennis.
