  • NS DID Manual/Auto differences

    It seems that unlike the NP, the NS has quite different configurations for the Auto and Manual

    Auto -
    - Variable Geometry Turbo to control boost pressures controlled by Engine ECU
    - Catalytic Converter
    - Diesel Particulate Filter
    - Temperature sensors before CC, inside CC, near DPF, after DPF
    - Pressure sensors around DPF

    Manual
    - Wastegate Turbo to prevent overboost
    - Two Catalytic Converters
    - No Exhaust sensors

    Both Manual and Auto have
    - Intercooler
    - Throttle Valve after Intercooler controlled by Engine ECU
    - Exhaust Gas Recirculation controlled by Engine ECU
    - Swirl Control Valve in Inlet Manifold controlled by Engine ECU
