  • DiD - thoughts after 17,000kms

I recon it's finally starting to show signs that it is starting to loosen up and run a little smoother, a lot quieter and all I can say is I like it.

Heaps more grunt than I expected (my first paj) and I'm really happy with the torque. From it's performance out bush there's few, if any, stock standard 4x4's that will beat it (the shortie that is ).

    I'm glad you're enjoying it.

When I traded the NP DiD with 92,000km on it, I was still amazed how effortlessly it would produce stunning acceleration for such a heavy vehicle.

How much has fuel economy changed since new ?

It's hovered at 10.6 litres per hundred, up to 11.4 litres in bad traffic and down to 9.6 litres in constant driving between 80 and 100kmh. Off-road it averages 10-11 litres which is great.
