  • DP Chip & smoke

We were just about to have a DP chip installed on our 08 VRX Paj NT, but I queried the potential for exhaust smoke and was told by the mechanic that "under load as in when towing up a hill or the like it will blow a bit more smoke"
That comment has now given me second thoughts as we don't have any smoke now
Has any one with a DP chip had an issue with exhaust smoke since installation??
Woiuld be very interested to get feedback on this
    Cheers

All diesel cars under load will blow some smoke. With a Chip under load it puts more fuel which equals more power causing more smoke.....no getting away from it...and I'm on my second Chip...both were or are the same....my first chip was a bit more smokey than the current one I have now.but the extra powers is so worth it you won't regret it over a bit of diesel smoke
