  • Flashing Centre Diff Light

    Hi All,
Had been driving along normally for about ten minutes yesterday when I sensed a loss of power, looked down to find the check engine light illuminated, ASC off light illuminated & Centre Diff light flashing. There was no illumination of the front & rear wheel lamps.
Pulled over, turned off for a minute or so, then restarted still the same except ASC light was out. Limped on home.
Checked out owners manual, it only told me, I had a transfer case problem & to do what I had already done.
Started vehicle when it had cooled down, Check engine light still illuminated.

Rang local Mitsubishi Dealer this morning, all booked out today so booked in for tomorrow.
Went for a little bit of a run this morning to checkout, all lights that should have been on were on, including the check engine light. It ran like a hairy goat, until it warmed up a bit, then started to run better when the diff light stated flashing again & there was no illumination of the front & rear wheel lamps.
Tried the turning off again, but no good.

So it is off to Dealer tomorrow, can anyone give me a heads up on what to expect?

All sweet, just back from dealer, appears hose off around turbo somewhere.
Lack of vacuum giving the flashing light.
    Mick.
