  • There are other makes?

Apparently, there's a minimum of 10 characters for a new post - and the smileys wouldn't work for me.

          Turning to the Dark Side...

I need some support and urgent help here...

My NG /89 turbo diesel Paj recently had a $3k+ spent on totally rebuilding my dead diesel (4D56T no intercooler)... then I started work driving a sweeper.

Problem is, the tow-vehicle is a thing called a "RangeRover" (?), and on the first day I thought I'd driven over a six inch high curb.- I'm sure I saw it go under me...but the "RangeRover" hardly moved, just a gentle undulation.... In my trusty Paj I would have heard, felt and be in no doubt that I'd brutally attacked a harmless curb....

Now I feel the inexorable urge to get one of these "RangeRovers" (same birthday as mine, 1989) 'cos it drives SO smoooooooothly, and the turning circle with the trailer is about a metre and a half smaller..

Please help, as now I'm having naughty daydreams of taking a Rangey or Series 1 Disco and making the chassis longer...and putting it under my NG body.

Or should I get a good Gen II body instead?

          Confused, West Oz.
