I understand the desire for a Gen 2, they're a well-sorted & reliable design that, aside from the modern electric dohickery, has offroad performance that still stands up well against the modern...
I don't really follow what you've posted, but let me post something anyway.
Pickle's Pajero has (amongst other acronyms) stability control (aka ASC) and traction control (aka TC, not to be confused with TC aka torque converter......

First, you don't need any DCDC charger, much less an expensive one. I say this as someone who owns one, and I don't "need one" to compensate for a smart alternator.
Theoretically, but it's a horribly inefficient way to do it - step 12V up to 220V (a potentially deadly voltage, if you're unlucky), then bring it back down to some unknown voltage inside the battery charger, to then be chopped for charging the battery....
The two survived the first day of suburban run-around, and they're off to the Victorian High Country on Monday. If they survive that trip, and I don't decide I dislike them, I might tweak the design a little - try...

I bought a set of four tyres second-hand, with a set of 5 good wheels (one HT spare tyre). I bought them sight unseen, taking a gamble that wheels & tyres + freight still worked out at reasonable value....
After 39k km I've retired these tyres. They were about 50% worn, so plenty of road-legal life in them, but I bought them to be chunky, aggressive, off-road tyres with plenty of rubber to keep the rocks away from the air inside - with so much rubber gone,...
