    $90/litre isn't exorbitant for a quality paint. But 2 litres? That turns into 4 litres when reduced and that's enough to paint a complete car! To do a quarter on a Pajero I'd probably mix about 250ml then reduce to 450ml and have some left over.

    Formulae for those colours are available in my paint system (Axalta Cromax) and should be in most other paint manufacturer's. Any automotive paint distributor should be able to mix it for you.

    GW is the code for an OEM Multi-tone consisting of AC10925 Kutani Red over PSD La Guardia Silver. GW= reverses the order so it would be silver over red; don't see many of these here, but strange combinations were not uncommon in Japan.

  • The machined finish on the face makes it difficult. Basically you need to put the wheel on a big lathe and fill(weld) any gouges/chips then machine the face again, followed by a special clear that will adhere to the alloy.
