Just to give you an idea of costs, I had mine done in Sawtell at 117000 km. Valves checked, EGR and manifold cleaned plus new front rotors, pads and brake fluid change for $1000. Just the rotors were $360 so rest of work was a good price. The mechanic...Leave a comment:

Thank you all so much, you are all so generous with your time and words. The reason I need more tow ball capacity is the loaded van is just over 2500kg, maybe closer to 2600kg, and the unloaded tow ball weight starts at 190 kg so will certainly increase....Leave a comment:

Thanks OJ, my other thought is to do the Climax suspension upgrade to the Paj, raises the tow ball weight to 300kg but costs about $4500.I'm torn which way to go, another tow vehicle or suspension upgrade on a ten year old PajeroLeave a comment:

Towing a caravan with a Triton
Hi all, I have a new caravan on order and it comes in around 2500kg loaded. Does anyone tow a similar weight with their Triton and if so how does it go. Considering a BT50 instead...
