Totally agree. These salesmen masquerading as 4wd experts would sell their own mother if there was a quid in it. Have not bought a magazine for decades and do not watch the 4wd tv advertorial shows. I,ve seen the All for Adventure shows but have also...

Maybe, for the quoted price, they are going to keep an old ball joint and put it on a new challenger for you....

I did the same some time ago. When camped at Burketown with absolutely no shade in the camp, these proved a great addition. Left the 40 litre engel freezer in the rear with the back door open . Rest of car was closed. 34 degrees in full sun on a saltpan...

PLUS...Once a bettery is around 80-85% of its bulk intake it slows down absorbing the last 15-20%. Many batteries without a dcdc staged charger are not at 100% when reaching camp or setting off. Best set up is a 120 lithium and 40 amp dcdc..Super quick...

Wasting your time. Why do you need the extra 25mm? Cutting plastic and then having the transmission pushing higher ratio is not ideal. Save your money and stick with the standard size..Dont get sucked into the bigger is better bullshit.

Personally I,d keep the Pajero. Get an ecu remap for $1200, auto mate $700, new suspension$2000....you will have a perfect rig for towing. As the Pajero is 3.2 litre it is a bigger and better motor than the smaller whizz bang 2.2, 2.8 etc. motors....

VW ,s had the petrol tank in the front many years ago. Can remember sitting in a pub in Heidelburg, VIC., when a vw sedan slammed into the pub doors and burst into flames. Bloke got out and a few pushed the VW back onto the street still burning. ...

I don't think he is producing them any more. Try Munji instead.

Mines silver with a 2inch lift. Standard size tyres. Looks complete...not like a weekend warrior nor a soccer mums vehicle.
Havent got many photos but here is one with the steel wheels and off road tyres on a recent Burketown trip....

My Ultragauge speed and my GPS speed are exactly the same at any time 1-140kph. The speedo on the car shows 100kph but is in actual fact 95kph....

30,000klms for valve adjustment is a pure rip off. Had mine done at 35,000klms...and mechanic said no adjustment needed....bring it back at 100,000klm.....Last edited by Dicko1; 1 week ago.

My TPMS is also behind the Ultragauge and on the dashboard. Both are very easy to read and I rely on the Ultragauge for my speed reading. Factory speedo is not accurate and not as easy to read as the digital Ultragauge....
