You'd think something like the EVC/HikeIT throttle controller would/could/should have an idle-up function

I made a little plywood panel to hold 4 switches & also gutted the card slot to fit another 2 switches.
These operate roof rack leds rear/side. spotlights, Vlad's TC on/off.
The flap still works so I can hide the switches for 90% of the...

For a small cable/cb antenna coax, it will fit in the windscreen rubber groove & hold in place with a few dobs of sikaflex. You can come in through the firewall on the drivers side where the bonnet release cable is, beneath the brake booster....

Thanks
The fog & DRL are wired separately and the additional 5pole relay prevents the fog and DRL both running at the same time, as per ADRs.
When you turn the parkers/headlights on, then you have the option to turn on/off...

Fitting STEDI Foglights
Hi All
Thought I'd do a quick writeup about my experience fitting STEDI DRL/foglights to my NW GLX & ARB Deluxe Bullbar. Its a bit of a continuation from this thread: https://www.pajeroforum.com.au/forum...lectrical-radi...

Would be interesting to see a solution. I don't think I really need one, but I do like mods

How about something like https://www.bcf.com.au/p/xtm-4wd-mod...de/553735.html.
You could make a false floor from 12mm ply & mount the drawer to it. On the other side, cut a hole to to access the 3rd row area.

As it turns out my paj already has a XYG windscreen, so its been replaced at some point by the previous owners who were in alice springs. I've made my free claim with AAMI who have passed me on to O'Briens. I asked the AAMI consultant on the phone about...

In our Gordigear Explorer tent I found the supplied mattress too firm, so I used my Exped Megamat Duo. We did try a queen sized eggcrate foam topper but then the tent didnt close with all of our sleeping bags etc. Could have packed the sleeping stuff...

I bought the OCAM ones from ebay, can complain with design/supplied sticky though they do tend to get bloody hot in the sun & radiate back inside the car.
Theres another cheap ebay brand which are made from black perspex & you can't see...

I've got a 40L Waeco CF-40, sometimes I wish I had just a little xtra space of the CF-50 for my partner & I. Summer weekend trips up the river require a bit more space for keeping more drinks cold. Longer touring trips 1-3wks, we precook & vacseal...

Sounds good, grab the relay from the wreckers aswell if you canI believe the Stedi fogs have the DRL circuitry built-in so there is no need for an external 'control box' to handle the dimming when headlights are switch on.
Keep us posted...Last edited by Turorit; 1 week ago.

Happy to help
My Waeco CF-40 needed another +50mm underneath the shelf to fit. Again, an afterthought - I'd already done the whole fitout before I decided I wanted a fridge. Fortunately I managed to squeeze it sideways behind the front...

Wowza, great photos. I'm impressed people have enough room in their vehicles to bring along instruments (and not break them!)
I'd be keen to tag along one day

With a bit of creative "engineering" you can fit an N70 100ah in the aux position, its a VERY tight squeeze, make sure there is zero movement in your mounting.
Mine is a supercheap auto generic "large" battery tray, I cut off...

Yep my platform was about 10cm higher than folded seats, I just put a couple of blocks of wood underneath when I folded it out & then a couple more bits of timber to prop the ends up near the front seats. Heres a few piccies:

In my gen2 I used a piece of 20mm MDF and 3x old brownbuilt steel shelves which just happened to be tall enough to slide my esky underneath. I used some hinged sections of MDF to make a sleeping platform...
