What’s your reasoning behind wanting a manual?...

Honestly I wouldn't bother.
Why willingly install an inferior head-unit when you can put in a Apple CarPlay / Android Auto unit that will be so much better for really not many $$$

When you say the 2nd battery earth point is the same as the main battery earth point what does that actually mean?
The 2nd battery earth is connected directly to the main battery -ve terminal? If so before or after the current / shunt detector...

Pretty sure it's part of the whole door card so you'd need to replace the whole thing.
Wreckers probably the best bet - no need for a whole door just the trim / door card.
Otherwise get a set of decent speakers and surface mount...

This is great timing!
I've just finished the install of a dual Anderson outlet and Merit socket in the back of my NW (all wiring not yet completed but sockets are in place)
Photos to come.
I initially wanted it all placed nearby the...

Just an aside, browsing through ads for Pajeros on Carsales, Gumtree etc, I can count on 1 hand the number that are sitting in 4H in photos - it seems 95% of people drive around in 2H if their 'for sale' photos are anything to go by. Is it ignorance...

Is this actual measured consumption (fill to fill) or just going by the trip computer?
Does seem odd either way, maybe make sure the connector on or near the airbox is not unplugged....

Yeah it is a bit awkward and heavy alright. I am in good health but getting on a bit mid 50s and can see that a lot of people would have real trouble getting the spare lifted and located. Maybe adapt a high lift type jack to do the ‘heavy lifting’ ?

The steering wheel control (SWC) buttons just present varying resistances across the 2 wires depending on the button pressed so it should not matter which wire goes where. I'd connect 1 wire from SWC to key1 and the other to key2.

My point is there will already be a reverse trigger there somewhere under the dash from before/ factory. No reason to run another one ideally....

You can tap into it in the footwell driver’s side (on a RHD) car. It should already be there for the factory camera. Yours should have already have a camera surely?

This is what I documented when I did my non- MMCS fitment a while back, maybe it helps?
This is why I did mine wire by wire and didn't worry about adaptors
Handbrake earth I picked up at the handbrake - was not available in the...

It's not clear from what you say - did the lights eventually stop flashing? It can take a little while when switching between modes. (but only 20 seconds or so max in my experience)
I leave mine in 4H 99.9% of the time - really only shift...

It’s happened to me before and generally just comes good by itself on the next drive.
Pretty sure there are historical posts on here regarding similar occurrences....

Pretty sure it's 6V
Easy enough to prove - stick it in reverse (engine OFF if possible!) and measure at 3 & 6 at the camera connector with a multimeter.
You can also get to the wires in RH side kick panel next to the driver's foot (RHD)...
