Hi again, this is another thread on the NM that had crank but no start.
Well, the last thing I did was back probed the CAS . As I did so, I was leaning on the engine . What I reckon might have happened is either when I back probed the CAS... -

I haven't tried that yet. I think it is "wasted spark " ignition, so I guess it wouldn't matter if the leads were swapped

OK., tested the primary circuit on each coil, and they all showed 1.3 ohms , whereas the standard value is supposed to be .74 to .9 ohms
Methinks this is too high ??

Yep. BUT, if the CKS or the CPS failed, I wouldn't get a spark ?? !!
Now, I wonder if this had anything to do with the problem :

Hi Folks, you may remember that I had a post recently re a NM V6 that wouldn't run . So, I am starting a new thread :
I suspected the spark plugs, which were old, and have replaced them with new ones . No difference.... -
It's supposed to be a good reader ( Kincrome ) Anyway I have discovered how to read a code on Youtube ( youtube.com/watch?v=lCn3wh6gqwc ) which I'm gonna have a go at

V6 No start, advice needed
Hi all, new member here, but I have been lurking for a while......
2002 NM V6 won't start.
What Happened : Drove the car in and parked it in the yard. loaded some stuff in, and went to drive off. Motor turned over but wouldn't...
