Mitsi dealers are required to record details of all Mods done to a vehicle and keep on file (record on the Repair order), and for anything that makes the car unroadworthy they should be advising the owner of this....

All of the U codes you get in the engine ECU are communication codes caused by ECUs in the circuit sharing information, and not getting a response from systems the car does not have. It is a very early design of canbus which hadnt changed from its inception...

That black layer is paint, and it clogs up the tiny gaps in the pads and creates a terrible racket.

I wouldnt touch the sensor. if you stress it or the connector ,it could fracture or just work loose over time.
If you need to crank the engine just remove the blue relay in the small relay box and power the starter from there.

FWIW the workshop manuals state 2.6 litres, but this is wrong. MMAL workshop manuals are full of errors, thats why the info gets repeated again...-

by DibbyDibbyDJCorrect amount in Challenger rear diff is important. The filler plug IS NOT a level plug. If you fill to the level of the plug you have put more than 2.1 litres in.

Reply to Mitsubishi coolant??by DibbyDibbyDJAswell as the radiator drain plug, there is a plug on the bottom edge of the oil cooler for draining the block. When you drain this as well, and replenish the overflow bottle you get nearly 10 litres out.

If the strainer has fragments in it, then changing it is going to do no good, your trans is already shot.

It is not supposed to be tight, so when refitting just a light tightening.-

Dexron 6 is compatible, and i have a Mazda that uses it, so I use SP3 in that as i get it cheap-

NX Paj generally appear to be ok, they always need some adjusting, although they rarely are tight, but the MQ and MR Triton inlet valves are always tight at service, and the exhaust valves are slightly looser than spec....-
